Credentialing for CAREER ADVANCEMENT
It is important while serving in the Army for a smooth transition into civilian employment once a military career has ended. Credentials, which come with a certificate, license, or certification, combine military training and experience into opportunities that improve Army readiness, enhance career advancement, and provide Soldiers with skills that translate into civilian occupations.
EARN Certification PROMOTION POINTS
You can now earn promotion points. Army G1 has approved an initiative to award points for qualified technical certifications to Soldiers competing for promotion to Sergeant and Staff Sergeant.
